"First-year senior Jordyn Wieber looked invincible as she ran away with the 2011 Visa Championships, but a knee injury to defending champion Rebecca Bross proved how fickle a gymnast's health can be. Wieber never missed a routine throughout the two-day competition, and her 121.30 was a hefty 6.15 ahead of runner-up McKayla Maroney (115.15)."

US National Champion
August 15, 2010
Rebecca won the all-around title last night at the VISA Championships in Hartford! She also placed first on uneven bars and balance beam and second on floor exercise. Congratulations Rebecca! Full results from last night have been posted. Pictures and videos will be coming soon.

|
With world and defending champion Bridget Sloan not entered in the all-around, first-day leader Rebecca Bross (WOGA) faced little challenge in claiming her first senior national title. And winning in Hartford should be a fitting test-run for Bross with regard to a bigger meet in October, the world championships in Rotterdam. She'll have a little unfinished business there, as well.
